Over 300 served on Thanksgiving Day

Our 2nd annual Thanksgiving Day Dinner was a HUGE success.  Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic restrictions, we were not able to host guests inside the dinning room of the Athenia Veterans Post in Clifton, NJ as the previous year.

Just when everyone was asked to stay in their homes for Thanksgiving, Power of One volunteers were able to provide a Thanksgiving Day dinner for seniors, veterans, disabled and shut in’s.

We could not have done this without the help of the small army of over 50 volunteers who gave their time and energy during Thanksgiving week.

Thanks to our Thanksgiving sponsors, Shook Funeral Home, Athenia Veterans Post, Bimbo’s Bakery, and Super-fresh Supermarket Clifton.

Together we delivered and served over 300 meals to 3 Clifton Senior Housing Buildings, 1 Senior Housing building in East Orange, and over 50 to go meals to Clifton residents.

May God richly bless all of you with good health and His peace.
