Seniors, We Care

Seniors, We Care is a program serving our seniors, individuals with disabilities and Veterans and vulnerable populations. During the Covid-19 shut down and throughout the pandemic, Power of One has been committed to serving this population by providing food aid, activities and valuable resources as we transition back to community after the pandemic.  Our Hunger Doesn’t Stop emergency program has been providing Healthy Food Care Packages for Clifton’s Seniors, Veterans, Disabled during times of crisis and advocacy. 

Healthy Food Care Packages are made to Homebound Senior Citizens, Veterans and Disabled Clifton residents only. Call 862-239-5905 to be placed on the list or contact the Clifton Senior Center (973) 470-2234 for a referral.

On a WEDNESDAY  Clifton Senior Housing residents living at Evergreen, Horizons, and Hazel Street Housing are enjoying a friendly game of BINGO and nutrition as we transition back to community. Many thanks to our Power of One Volunteer Team.

Senior Activities, and Nutrition Classes have been added to our Relief program to help reduce isolation, and improve the social emotional , well-being for our seniors living alone and have become lots of fun. For an activity schedule visit the Clifton Senior Barn.

Actvities at the Clifton Senior Center “No cost to Clifton residents”: Schedule: Thursday’s Zumba Gold from 3-4pm. Friday’s a 45 miniute worksout “Just Exercise” 2:30pm, Every other Monday Country Fusion Line Dance fitness at 4pm. Nutrition with Laura once per month.
