2nd Annual Children’s Christmas Party and Toy Give Away 2019
Over 300 children attended our annual Children’s Christmas Party held on December 15th at the Italian American Association, Clifton NJ thanks to our generous sponsors and volunteers.
The event is held especially for Power of One partnerships who are serving local children and their families. The event is FREE but a special invitation is required to attend.
“We’re restoring their hope during the Christmas season when its most hard on struggling families. ” said Kim Castellano, Director of Power of One.
She also continued to say “At the event, our volunteers were so joyful, friendly and helpful that the magic of Christmas could be seen on every child’s face.” Elf’s entertainment was full of childlike fun singing and dancing. Santa’s visit was precious for the little ones and to pick out any toy of his or her choice was just over the top for many less fortunate children.
Every child who was able to attend the special event spoke with Santa and received Christmas gifts. The food was prepared by passionate cooks and served by our team of over 50 volunteers.
